Assets Module

The Assets module allows you to create and manage Google Admin Chrome Devices. You will only be able to access the Assets page if you are an Admin/Super Admin or have been assigned as an agent in the Ticket module.

The Assets page displays a table containing all of the Chrome Devices in your Google Admin Console. This table includes the asset tag, serial number, type, assigned user for every device, and any recent ticket related to the asset. If you want to display more detail on the table, select the column dropdown in the right corner. Here, you will have the option to add the model, manufacturer, building, room, organizational unit, auto update expiration, and custom location.

In the left corner of the table is the actions dropdown. In this dropdown, you can assign/unassign a user from an asset as well as delete and restore deleted assets. You can also reboot, take screenshots, set volume, wipe user profiles, disable and reinstate devices, and move organizational units.

Admin users will see three buttons above the table. The first button is Export to Sheets, which will transfer the data from the table to a Google Sheet. You have the option to export all of the devices, including any deleted devices, only the devices displayed in the table, or the devices you select from the table. Next, Re-sync Google Workspace Chrome OS Devices will re-sync the table to match what is in Google Admin. Last, the New Asset button, can be used to create new assets.

Agents will only have access to the Re-sync and New Asset buttons.
